The Barbados Manufacturers' Association wanted to introduce Barbadian food and drink into the UK. The first part of this goal was to understand the current knowledge and opinion of Caribbean and Barbadian food in the UK. Then the second part was to introduce Barbadian food and drink.
02 — Creative process
I started with an online questionnaire to understand the market, and pinpointing the ideal consumer. I then made a three part plan. This began with destination marketing to raise interest in Barbadian culture. The next step was a campaign creating a positive image of Barbadian food and drink, then a final campaign to encourage consumers to buy Barbadian products.
